The Oman 10 Rials banknote is part of the 2010 issues. It is brown in color and measures 160 x 76 mm. The obverse side shows an urn in green SPARK, a crown as a registration device. the Salalah Tower, palm trees, a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the coat of arms with crossed swords and khanjar (dagger), and the main entrance of the CBO headquarters. The reverse side features the Muttrah Fort and a town with a harbor, the 40th National Day logo, and a crown. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 10 RIALS and contains a watermark with a sultan and electrotype 10 design.
