500 Baht Banknote from Thailand - Obverse

The banknote is purple and red-violet on multicolored under print.  H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) is at center.  The Privy Seal (radiant crowned Chakra seal on platform) is at left center. 

The note is undated but was first issued in 1996.  The note is still in circulation in Thailand.

Monuments of their majesties King Buddha Yod Fa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) and King Buddha Loet La Nabhalai (Rama II) are at right center.  A drawing of the temple of the Emerald Buddha is at left center.
