Reviews:

The Brazil 5,000 Cruzeiros is part of the family of notes issued in 1993 with an all-new design. This particular paper bill comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. Its front side features Antonio Carlos Gomes who was the composer of O Guarani'', Salvador Rosa, and O Escravo'' operas. The obverse side also reflects the monument representation of the operas at the Municipal Theatre, Sao Paulo, depicting a man with a bow and arrow, a man wearing a hat, and a nude youth. Highlighted on the back of the note are a grand piano and a seated statue of Carlos Gomes in Sao Paulo. A crowned shield is also visible. The 140 x 65 mm paper banknote has a tuning fork as its registration device. It also has a solid security thread and a watermark that shows the head of Republica. Printed by the Casa De Moeda Do Brasil, the banknote bears signatures of Paulo Roberto Haddad and Gustavo Jorge Laboissiere Loyola.
