Reviews:

The Brazil 5 Cruzados Novos on 5,000 Cruzados is part of the family of notes issued in 1989. It is the same as the preceding issue but with a black triangular overprint that reflects the denomination in the new cruzados novos currency. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse features Brazilian painter Candido Torquato Portinari and the mural Tiradentes depicting a kneeling man with a child and a standing woman with broken chains. Paintbrushes in a vase are also shown. The back of the note illustrates Candido Torquato Portinari painting an outline of a woman for Baianas, a mural of children and a horse. The 154 x 74 mm paper bill has a watermark that reflects Candido Torquato Portinari.
