This uncirculated 10 Deutsche mark banknote is a replacement banknote issued by the German Central Bank for the Federal Republic of Germany. It is a bluish-purple banknote that is dated 1 September 1999, bears the signatures of Ernst Welteke and Jurgen Stark, and measures 130 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side shows the scientist Carl Friedrich Gauss, the Gaussian distribution curve, and buildings in Goettingen. Its reverse side depicts a heliotrope and the triangulation network. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized DM 10 and a watermark of Carl Friedrich Gauss and 10.
