Reviews:

The red and orange 50 pound note from Gibraltar is part of the 1995-2006 series of banknotes issued by the Government of Gibraltar. It was first issued on the 30th anniversary of Winston Churchills death in 1995. This note, however, is part of the second printing that is dated 1st December 2006 and bears the signature of Commissioner of Currency Timothy J Bristow. The note was withdrawn in August 31, 2011. Its obverse side contains a flower, the coat of arms of Gibraltar, a Barbary ape, a swallowtail butterfly, a horse-driven carriage, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side features four Spitfire airplanes on one side and a portrait of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill on the other side. The note is printed by De La Rue. Its dimensions are 158 mm by 85 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
