It has an all-zero serial number, a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint on both sides of the note, and the signature of Ian Black as the Treasurer of the States. The note is also of Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ), has above average margins and registration, and experienced slight handling. The front side of the note contains a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a shield with three lions passant guardant, two oyster catcher birds, and flowers. The reverse side highlights John Singleton Copleys interpretation of The Death of Major Peirson in the Battle of Jersey and two outline maps of Jersey.
