The Malaysia 1 Ringgit Banknote is part of the 1986-1995 Issues. This banknote measures 120 x 64 mm, and is dark blue in color. The obverse side bears the portrait of Tuanku Abdul Rahman, the first Supreme Head of the State of the Federation of Malaya. The reverse side bears the BNM logo and the Tugu Peringatan Negara (National War Monument) in Kuala Lumpur. This particular banknote has security thread varieties and has Tuanku Abdul Rahman wearing tengkolok headgear as its watermark.
