This uncirculated 500,000 Nicaraguan Cordoba on a 1,000-Cordoba banknote is a provisional banknote issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua. It is a blue-gray, pink, and orange banknote that is dated 18 November 1987, bears the signatures of William Hupper Arguello, Joaquin Cuadra Chamorro, and Alejandro Martinez Cuenca, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a horizontal black BCN/500,000/QUINIENTOS MIL overprint and a portrait of revolutionary General Augusto Cesar Sandino. Its reverse side depicts a view of the birthplace of General Augusto Cesar Sandino and a horizontal black BCN/500,000/QUINIENTOS MIL overprint.
