Reviews:

The Papua New Guinea 50 Kina banknote was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea in 1989. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with the bird of paradise perched on the Kundu drum and the ceremonial spear, and the National Parliament building in Port Moresby. The reverse side features a portrait of Prime Minister Michael Somare, spears from Sepik, a shield and mask from New Ireland, a leaf and pointed Tubuan face mask from New Britain, a headdress from the Highlands, and a mask and costume from Sepik River. This banknote uses a solid security thread printed PAPUA NEW GUINEA and contains a watermark with a bank logo design. The orange banknote measures 150 x 75 mm and is signed by Henry ToRobert and Morea Vele. This banknote is uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
