This set showcases 6 pieces of notgeld banknotes issued by the town of Thale in Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany in 1921. These paper bills are in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 pfennig. These banknotes are in various colors. Depicted at the center of their obverse is the seal of Thale am Harz and the denomination of both the left and right sides. These banknotes have Johanni 1921 printed on the lower-left portion of its obverse. Their reverse design depicts scenes related to Walpurgis night such as the Devils Wall or Teufelsmauer, Witches Dance, cats, a bird, a fork, and demons. These banknotes are in different colors and are 83 x 56 mm in size. Banknotes from this collection are in uncirculated condition.
