This Weimar banknote set includes 6 pieces of Weimar 50 Pfennig notgeld banknotes issued in 1921. These banknotes are part of the Goethe and Schiller series introduced by the City of Weimar in Thuringia. These emergency paper bills are in blue and green. At the center of the obverse side of each note is a portrait of either German playwright and novelist Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or Friedrich von Schiller. The reverse design depicts various scenes illustrating some of the works of the person featured on the obverse. These banknotes are 100 x 70 mm in size and are in uncirculated condition.
