Reviews:

This banknote set comes with 3 pieces of notgeld banknotes issued by the City of Wernigerode in the Harz district, Saxony-Anhalt. These paper bills were released in 1920 in 10, 25, and 50 denominations. The obverse of the 10-pfennig note features an owl, a lighted candle, and mice while that of the 25 and 50 pfennig bills depicts the coat of arms of Wernigerode, faces, and dwarves. Their reverse has various designs featuring traditional costumes, young women flying on broomsticks over the city and field, toward the castle atop a hill, and a castle. These emergency paper bills are in different sizes and are in uncirculated condition.
