Reviews:

This 5-piece banknote set consists of Zella-Mehlis notgeld banknotes in 10, 25, and 50-pfennig denominations. These banknotes are part of the unification series issued in 1921 by the City of Zella-Mehlis in Thuringia. Featured on the obverse of these notgeld banknotes are portraits of the bishop and his wife, churches, and the terms. The 10 and 25 pfennig notes have the same design concept on their reverse depicting a view of a village at the center and on each side is the denomination. Printed by Otto Richters & Co. in Erfurt, these notgeld banknotes are 86 x 63 mm in size and bear a watermark that reflects Rhenish wave patterns. These paper bills are in uncirculated condition.
