The Fiji 50 Dollar banknote printed with SPECIMEN in red overprint is a limited-edition piece from the 2002 series with enhanced security features. The note contains a novel serial number, a Fijian head watermark, and a wider windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo for added security. Its obverse side features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a flying Kacau bird, a domodomo as a registration device, and flowers. On the reverse are soldiers with rifles at the flag-raising ceremony, a Cession Stone with a plaque on Ovalau, six seated men signing the deed of cession on the table in 1874, a domodomo, and flowers. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size.
