This uncirculated 100 Kenyan shilling banknote is a standard circulation banknote that is dated 01 July 2000 and signed by Central Bank Governor Micah Cheserem and Member Martin Oduor-Otieno. It is a purple, green, and red note that measures 140 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side contains a portrait of the second president of Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, a rose, a view of Mount Kenya, and the national emblem. Its reverse side features coffee berries and a view of the Kenya Uhuru (Freedom) Monument in Uhuru Park. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBK 100, an elephant registration device, and a lion head watermark.
