Malawi 200 Kwacha Banknote, 2012, P-60a, UNC

The Malawi 200 Kwacha Banknote is part of the 2012 issues of the Reserve Bank of Malawi. The note comes in a combination of blue, violet, and orange. Its obverse depicts a portrait of Rose Lomathinda Chibambo, a fish, fishermen on a boat, and the Reserve Bank of Malawi headquarters building in Lilongwe. The reverse of the paper bill features the New Parliament building in Lilongwe and the bank logo. The note’s security features include a holographic stripe, a registration device showing the map of Malawi, a windowed security thread with a demetallized RBM, and a watermark that reveals Rose Lomathinda Chibambo, an electrotype 200, and Cornerstones. The paper bill is 132 x 66 mm in size and carries the signature of Dr. Perks M. Ligoya. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
