Uruguay 1,000 Nuevos Pesos Banknote, 1992 ND, P-64Ab, UNC

This uncirculated 1,000 Uruguayan Nuevo peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Uruguay in 1992. It is a purple, blue, and orange banknote that bear the signatures of Jose Sambarino, Juan Cesar Pacchiotti, and Ricardo Pascale and measures 159 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms and the profile of Jose Gervasio Artigas. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Palacio Estevez (Estevez Palace) in Montevideo. Security features include a solid security thread with printed URUGUAY and a simulated watermark of Jose Gervasio Artigas. The note was withdrawn in 2003.
