The Oman 20 Rials Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Oman in 2010 to commemorate the 40th National Day. The banknote has a color combination of blue, olive green and purple. Its obverse features Sultan Qaboos bin Said and the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Bausher it also features the coat of arms of Oman with crossed swords and a khanjar (dagger), a green SPARK feature, and the main entrance of the CBO headquarters. The reverse of the note depicts the coat of arms, the Royal Opera House building in Muscat, the 40th National Day logo, and a crown. The banknote contains registration device in the form of a crown, a varifye thread and a windowed security thread with demetallized 20 RIALS. It also has a watermark that reveals the Sultan and an electrotype 20. The banknote is 167 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Sultan Qaboos bin Said. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
