BANKNOTE WORLD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

By browsing, using, placing an order for, or purchasing products and/or services via the Banknote World website (the “Website”), you agree to comply with the terms and conditions stated below (the “Terms”). The Terms govern your use of the Website as well as the products and/or services we offer on and through the Website, including making purchases from Banknote World, making sales to Banknote World, making payment to or getting payment from Banknote World, and placing orders with Banknote World.

THESE TERMS ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL ORDERS, PURCHASES, AND SALES, WHETHER CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE WEBSITE, BY TELEPHONE, OR OTHERWISE. ENSURE YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND ACCEPTED ALL OF THESE TERMS BEFORE YOU PLACE AN ORDER TO PURCHASE AND/OR TO SELL WITH BANKNOTE WORLD. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE WEBSITE, YOU WARRANT THAT, WITH NO LIMITATION, YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THE TERMS HERE. IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND OR DON’T AGREE TO BE BOUND BY AND TO COMPLY WITH THE TERMS HEREIN AND ANY OTHER SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS AND POLICIES, YOU MUST EXIT THE WEBSITE IMMEDIATELY. BANKNOTE WORLD RETAINS EVERY RIGHT TO MAKE MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE TO YOU. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT BANKNOTE WORLD MAY MAKE MODIFICATIONS TO THE WEBSITE AT ANY TIME BASED ON SOLE DISCRETION, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER AND WITH NO PRIOR NOTICE TO YOU. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT IF YOU CONTINUE TO USE THE WEBSITE AFTER WE HAVE POSTED ANY MODIFICATION TO THE TERMS, THEN YOU ARE BOUND BY AND WILL COMPLY WITH THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF THE TERMS.

By purchasing from, making sales to, or ordering from Banknote World, whether by telephone, through the Website, or otherwise, you are subject to all terms, policies, rules, restrictions, obligations, representations, and warranties, with which you hereby agree to comply.

Purchase and Sale Policies and Procedures

You have to be at least 18 years of age before you can purchase or sell products as well as create a profile and account with Banknote World or otherwise use any part of the Website. By using the Website, you represent that: (a) you have the right, capacity, and authority to enter into a legally binding Agreement as well as to abide by every term of this Agreement; (b) every registration, profile as well as listing information you provide is correct; (c) you will ensure and maintain the correctness of such information; and (e) your usage of the Website violates no relevant laws or regulations.

You may sell to, purchase from, and order from Banknote World only in line with the Terms and any accompanying policies and procedures stipulated by Banknote World.

As soon as you place an order to purchase or sell with Banknote World, you have entered into and become a party to a binding and legally enforceable Agreement. Prices and availability of products and/or services are subject to change, without any notice to you.

When you place an order on Banknote World the specified price at which your order has been submitted is the guaranteed price. Subsequently, you will get an “order number” via email. To fully guarantee all orders, you are required to make payment using a valid credit card, or Bank Wire. Banknote World doesn’t accept checks, cash on delivery (COD), or money order for payment. Given this, a completed order is indicated by our receipt of funds in a bank account (via wire) or payment through a credit card.

If any order is in error, owing to Banknote World fault or otherwise, Banknote World retains the right to cancel such an order.

Banknote World expressly retains every right to refuse, reject, or cancel any order, for any reason, based on sole discretion, irrespective of the payment method and price confirmation.

Payment Methods

Our shopping cart system accepts payment through payment methods such as American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. First-time customers are required to order via credit card. Once a successful order history is established customers are welcome to select bank wire as payment method. If the customer selects bank wire, they are responsible for any wire transfer fees charged by their bank.

Fraud

Banknote World retains the right, but is under no form of obligation, to actively report and take legal action against suspected and actual credit card fraud. We may, based on sole discretion, request further authorization from you through a telephone confirmation of your order and other information. If fraud is suspected, Banknote World retains the right to delay, cancel, refuse to ship, or recall from the shipper any order. We collect certain information during the order process, including information that will enable us to locate and identify any individual committing or involved in fraud. If any Website order is suspected or observed to be fraudulent, Banknote World retains the right, but is under no obligation, to submit all records, either with or without a subpoena, to any law enforcement authority, and the credit card company for a proper investigation of the fraud. Banknote World retains the right to cooperate with relevant authorities to prosecute offenders to the maximum extent of the law.

Sales Tax

Banknote World is required to collect sales tax on every order that is being shipped to a destination which requires collection or payment of state-specific sales tax. This tax is calculated on the total of merchandise and any necessary shipping/handling fees.

Cancellation Policy

Banknote World retains every right to refuse, reject, or cancel an order for any reason whatsoever, irrespective of the payment method or price confirmation, including for orders Banknote World considers suspicious or questionable, for orders Banknote World considers to be a substantial risk, when the confirmed price is inaccurate, for sudden movements in the precious metals market, and/or when Banknote World doesn’t get payment within the allocated timeframe.

Banknote World is not responsible in any way for any pricing or typographical errors and expressly retains the right, based on sole discretion, to cancel any order placed regarding such items. If any order is canceled, Banknote World will directly contact you with a notification of such cancellation.

Return Policy

If you have to return or exchange any item, you may e-mail or call us to request a return approval. Returns must be done within 14 days from the delivery date on the tracking number.

Ensure your name and address are specified on the return address part of the package, and also include a copy of your shipping invoice. In case you ship from a mailing center, they usually use their address, so ensure to ask them to include your address.

The buyer is solely responsible for inspecting all merchandise immediately upon receipt. If there is any issue with a shipment sent, including defective or damaged merchandise, missing item(s), or inaccurate order/shipping error, the buyer must notify Banknote World within 7 business days of receipt of the package.

You will be refunded strictly for the complete cost of the product not including all shipping costs. Return shipping is absolutely at your expense. You will get an email notification when we receive your return and the amount refunded.

For orders more than $5,000.00, no return, exchange, or refund will be made.

Shipping and Handling and Hold Time

Banknote World ships to the United States and certain international countries. Banknote World will individually review all international shipments and have every right to terminate any transaction based on sole discretion depending on location or for any other reason. There is insurance and/or tracking for international shipments, nevertheless, it is usually cost-prohibitive. Insurance and/or tracking may be included in international shipments at the buyer’s expense.

Banknote World ships most orders within the same business day if the order was placed before 12:00 PM PST. Under certain rare situations, packages may be held for a longer period. Wire transfers often take a 2-4 day hold time before shipment. If packages are held any time longer than 3 business days, customers will be contacted. Note that if we need a driver’s license or other ID before shipment, the 0-3 business day shipping window will start when the requested information is received.

At a customer‘s request, Banknote World may, based on sole discretion, permit special shipping accommodations including shipping to a third party. Once such a package leaves our facility, we will no longer be responsible for it. The customer takes on all responsibility with the third party that they request us to ship to and frees Banknote World from any liability in case the third party doesn’t comply with their obligation.

The delivery dates on Banknote World and by FedEx, USPS, or other carriers are only "Estimated Dates". Banknote World doesn’t offer any shipping refunds nor do we coordinate with FedEx, USPS, or any other carriers overnight on behalf of the customer when a package doesn’t arrive by the estimated delivery date. Banknote World is not responsible in any way for any package delivered late by any carrier.

Undeliverable Packages

It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to ensure that his/her shipping information is accurate. If a package is returned to Banknote World, Banknote World will offer a complete refund to the buyer less any shipping charges sustained by Banknote World. Banknote World may, based on sole discretion, decide to reship the product instead of providing a full refund.

International Disclaimer:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before purchase.

Disclaimers, Exclusions, and Limitations

The prices by Banknote World are based on current market prices which are often decided by supply and demand.

Regarding a 'Global Revaluation' or 'RV' of international currencies versus the US Dollar, Banknote World has seen no evidence to indicate that this is genuine in any way. Banknote World believes that by accepting normal currency fluctuations, there will be no 'Global Revaluation' of currencies.

It is advised that any buyer of this item should take time to educate him/herself about this product before purchasing it. The buyer assumes complete responsibility for the purchase of banknotes from Banknote World. Banknote World is not endorsed by or affiliated in any way with either the United States Government or the U.S. Mint.

You understand and agree that Banknote World is not selling banknotes on the Website on a speculation basis, and is only selling them as collectible. You understand and accept that the purchase of banknotes sold by Banknote World for any other reason than collecting is highly speculative and is not supported or suggested by Banknote World. You understand and accept that Banknote World doesn’t guarantee any future price or value over any banknote that is being sold on the Website. You understand and agree that the buyer assumes sole responsibility for the purchase of any banknote sold on the Website. You understand and accept that all banknotes currently sold by Banknote World are marketed and sold as collectible/novelty items only.

NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS OF BANKNOTES THAT ARE STILL IN CIRCULATION

There may be widespread, unfounded claims that circulating currencies such as the Indonesian rupiah, Iraqi dinars and/or Vietnamese dong will increase in value relative to the US dollar. Banknote World wishes to warn potential purchasers of such circulating banknotes against expecting that these currencies will be revalued or otherwise increase significantly in value as a currency. Banknote World sells such currencies as collectibles at prices that are already above their face value given the quality preservation and authentication services we provide. Purchasers are advised that while the value of banknotes as collectibles may go up and down based on collector interest, significant increases in value as a circulating currency are NOT likely.

Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value for any banknote that it sells. By purchasing circulating or non-circulating currency from us, you confirm your understanding that Banknote World sells banknotes as collectibles and that the purchasing of banknotes for any reasons other than for collecting purposes is highly speculative. You also confirm your understanding that Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value for any banknote that it sells. You agree that your purchase of any banknotes and/or coins from Banknote World is for collectible purposes only.

Money Services Business (hereinafter “MSB”) Disclaimer

Note that Banknote World (including its affiliates) conducts no foreign currency exchange or money transfer services of any nature, as specified by federal and state regulations. We don’t convert or transmit money. Banknote World is not an MSB. Also, Banknote World is not a financial institution. Banknote World services are restricted to only the retail sale of rare and collectible banknotes from across the world to collectors.

Every information on the Website is published in good faith and for the main purpose of general information. Banknote World doesn’t make any warranties about the reliability, completeness, and correctness of this information. Any action taken by you upon the information on the Website is solely at your own risk. Banknote World is not liable for any damages and losses in line with the use of the Website.

TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE ALLOWED BY RELEVANT LAW, Banknote World EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY UNDER OR IN LINE WITH THIS AGREEMENT, FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS (INCLUDING WITH NO LIMITATION TO THE LOSS OF BUSINESS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, PROFIT, USAGE, INFORMATION, AND/OR SAVINGS, AND ANY OTHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL AND/OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE) OF EVERY FORM, DISCLOSED AND UNDISCLOSED, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY RESULTING FROM OR IN LINE WITH THIS AGREEMENT SURPASS THE AMOUNT OF THE PAYMENT, OR ONE THOUSAND U.S. DOLLARS ($1,000 U.S.D.), WHICHEVER IS LESS. SINCE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DON’T PERMIT THE EXCLUSION OF OR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, IN SUCH STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, THE LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPROPRIATE LAW.

Indemnity

At your expense, you shall indemnify, defend, and hold Banknote World (including its directors, employees, officers, agents, subsidiaries as well as parent companies) harmless from and against any liabilities, claims, costs, demands, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees sustained by You) sustained by Banknote World and loss of any nature arising out of (i) your violation of this agreement and (ii) any alleged or actual claim by a third party whose rights (such as property rights and rights of publicity or privacy) you have infringed (iii) your breach of any law or regulation.  

Statute of Limitations

YOU ACCEPT THAT IRRESPECTIVE OF ANY LAW OR STATUTE TO THE CONTRARY, ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION RESULTING FROM OR REGARDING THE AGREEMENT MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER SUCH CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION OCCURS, OR BE BARRED FOREVER.

Governing Law, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

This Agreement, and all arising matters regarding this Agreement, shall be governed by the applicable laws of the State of California.

Ensure you first try and settle any dispute, claim, or controversy regarding this Agreement or the termination, breach, interpretation, enforcement, or validity thereof.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy regarding this Agreement or the termination, breach, interpretation, enforcement, or validity thereof, alongside the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be decided by binding arbitration in the JAMS offices in Los Angeles, California, before three arbitrators, all of whom must be retired judges. Except the parties agree on the arbitrators, each party shall choose one arbitrator from the JAMS panel of neutrals and the third arbitrator shall be chosen together by the parties or if the parties disagree then elected at random by JAMS. The arbitration shall be done in line with the JAMS Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures, or, if the controversial amount is below $250,000.00, the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Judgment on the Award may be taken to any court of relevant jurisdiction. This provision shall not prevent parties from pursuing provisional remedies in aid of arbitration from a court of relevant jurisdiction. The initial filing fee as well as any interim fees shall be accepted equally by the parties. The cost of the arbitration for contract claims, except for legal fees and costs, shall be accepted by the losing party or in such quantity as the arbitrator shall choose. Each party shall accept its legal fees and costs.

Coupon Policy

Banknote World retains every right to terminate or modify any discount based on discretion. Immediately after an order has been paid, Banknote World cannot apply any discount. To get a discount, you are required to have an account with Banknote World and make payments with any major credit card.

All images and content on Banknote World are the property of Banknote World and are subject to U.S. copyright law. Any reproduction, alteration, or distribution of images without express written consent is strictly prohibited. All other rights reserved.
Unauthorized alteration, distribution or reproduction of the Banknote World Certificate of Authenticity is prohibited without express written consent from Banknote World. 

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the whole agreement between you and Banknote World, and governs your use of the Website, prevailing over any prior agreements. If any aspect of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nonetheless agree that the court should endeavor to give full effect to the party's intentions as shown in the aspect, and the other aspects of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

Termination

Either Banknote World or you may end the Terms herein, any time, for any reason, including convenience, by simply sending a written notice to the other party. The termination of the Terms shall not affect the rights and obligations of Banknote World or you regarding the period before the date of termination.
