This Zimbabwe 50 Million Dollar Bearer Cheque from 2008 is uniquely colored in purple and measures 148 x 74 mm. The obverse side of the note features the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe logo and the denomination in the center. With the signature of Governor Dr. G. Gono printed on the left. The reverse side of the note features three elephants. The country is known to have the second biggest elephant population in Africa. The banknote's security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized RBZ, Zimbabwe bird Type C watermark, and electrotype RBZ.
