This uncirculated 1,000 Afghan afghani banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by Da Afghanistan Bank in 1977 (SH 1356). It is a brown, red, and violet banknote that bears the signatures of Mohammad Hakim and Sayed Abdulillah and measures 171 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of President Muhammad Daud and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side depicts the Blue Mosque in Mazari Sharif. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Muhammad Daud.
