Afghanistan 10 Afghanis Banknote, 1973-1977, P-47c, UNC

The Afghanistan 10 Afghani banknote is a part of the banknote series issued around 1973-1977 bearing the portrait of the first president of the Republic of Afghanistan as well as the new Coat of Arms depicting an eagle beneath the sun. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. On the left of the notes obverse is President Muhammad Daud. On the bottom center is the National Emblem. The reverse of the note features the Arch of Qala-e-Bost in Lashkar Gah where the Arghandab River and the Helmand River merge. It has a solid security thread and signatures of former Da Afghanistan Bank governors Mohammad Hakim and Sayed Abdulillah. When held up to a light source, this 140 x 55 mm paper note would show an image of Muhammad Daud.
