The Afghanistan 10 Afghanis Banknote was issued by the Afghanistan Bank in 1979. It has a color combination of green and brown. Its obverse features the bank seal depicting horsemen, cornucopia, and ancient coin. The reverse of the note displays a car on a mountain road in Salang Pass in the Hindu Kush mountains. The note does not contain a security thread but bears a watermark that reveals a coat of arms pattern. It is 115 x 53 mm in size and is signed by Ghulam Hussain Juwaini and Abdul Wakil. This particular banknote is in used condition and has been TAP authenticated.
