The Afghanistan 100 Afghanis Banknote was issued by the Afghanistan Bank in 1977. The banknote is predominantly lilac and bears Arabic and English text. Its obverse features president Muhammad Daud and the coat of arms of Afghanistan. The reverse depicts Masjid-i Jami (Friday Mosque) in Herat. The banknote contains a solid security thread. It also bears a watermark that reflects Muhammad Daud. It measures 156 x 265 mm and is signed by Mohammad Hakim and Sayed Abdulillah. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
