This uncirculated 500 Afghan afghani note was issued by the Afghanistan Bank in 1979 (SH 1358) and signed by Ghulam Hussain Juwaini and Abdul Wakil. It is a purple, brown, blue, and green note that measures 150 mm long and 66 mm wide. Its obverse side depicts horsemen playing the national sport Buzkashi. Its reverse side features the High Fortress in Kabul. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark that shows a coat of arms pattern.
