Albania 1,000 Leke Banknote, 1957, P-32, UNC

This particular Albania 1,000 Leke banknote issued in 1957 comes in uncirculated condition. Featured on the left of the notes obverse is a portrait of nobleman and military leader Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. The right part depicts oil derricks on a hillside surrounded with trees. The back of this 173 x 94 mm paper note bears the countrys Coat of Arms and a man wearing a miners hat with a jackhammer. Moreover, it has a B SH SH pattern as its watermark.
