Algeria 1,000 Dinars, 2005, P-143a, PMG 66

As part of the 2005 Commemorative series for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Arab League, the Algeria 1,000 Dinars banknote bears the same design to the original 1000-dinar banknote with the exception of the official 60th anniversary seal. The obverse side also features Tassili cave carvings of animals; meanwhile the reverse side shows Hoggar cave paintings of antelope and rock pillars. The note also has a water buffalo head pattern watermark. It measures 160 x 71.7 mm and has a mix of red and orange colors.
