Its obverse features the Sanctuaire des Martyrs, a map of the Arab World, and the Algerian flag. The reverse depicts the natural stone arch, the Grand Mosque of Algiers, and rock formations. It contains a windowed holographic security thread with 2022. Its watermark reveals Emir Abdelkader and 2000. It is 158 x 72 mm in size and is signed by Salah Eddine Taleb. This particular commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
