Reviews:

The Algeria 500 Dinar Banknote was released by the Bank of Algeria in 1998. The obverse of this purple banknote features Numidian army on elephants attacking Roman soldiers with spears and shields. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the hot waterfall of Hammam Chellali, the ruins of Numid King Massinissa’s tomb, and three men with flags on two elephants. The paper bill contains a holographic stripe depicting the profiles of Abd al-Qadir and Numidian King Jugurtha. The banknote also bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized Arabic text. Furthermore, it has a watermark that reveals an elephant’s head pattern. Its dimensions are 150 x 71.7 mm and is signed by Mustapha Guerdoud. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
