Angola 100 Kwanzas Banknote, 2012, P-153a, PMG 66

This 100 Angolan kwanza note was introduced by the National Bank of Angola in 2013. It is a brown note that measures 155 mm x 66 mm, is dated October 2012, and bears the signature of Governor Jose de Lima Massano. Its obverse side features Jose Eduardo dos Santos and Antonio Agostinho Neto. Its reverse side shows the Angolan coat of arms and a view of the Binga Waterfalls. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized BNA 100 and a watermark of The Thinker. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
