The Angola 500,000 Kwanzas is part of the banknote family issued in 1995. This particular note comes in uncirculated condition. On its obverse is a portrait of former presidents of Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos and Antonio Agostinho Neto. The reverse of the banknote features the floodgates of Matala Dam which is known as Barragem Da Matala. The Coat of Arms of Angola is also found on the lower left of the reverse and a tribal mask on the upper right. The 162 x 70 mm paper banknote bears an image of The Thinker as its watermark.
