This uncirculated 1,000 Argentinian peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina in 1981. It is a brown banknote that bear the signatures of Pedro Camilio Lopez and Egidio Ianella, and measures 155 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side shows oak leaves and a portrait of Jose de San Martin. Its reverse side is engraved and depicts a view of the Casa Rosada (Pink House) on the Plaza de Mayo (May Plaza) in Buenos Aires.
