The Argentina 1,000 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Central Bank in 2017. The vertical-oriented obverse of this yellow banknote depicts the national bird Rufous hornero, flowers, and a bird and a next on a branch. The reverse of the paper bill features a hornero chick, the Pampean plain which is the hornero habitat, the map of the Argentine Sea, Antarctica, and South Atlantic Islands, a clawprint, a compass rose, and the coat of arms of Argentina. The banknote contains a motion windowed security thread with a flower and 1000. It also bears a solid security thread with demetallized $1000 BCRA, a registration device that reflects a bird claw print, and a watermark that reveals a hornero and an electrotype 1000. The banknote is 155 x 65 mm in size and carries the signatures of Sergio Tomas Massa and Miguel Angel Pesce. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
