The Argentina 1 Austral banknote issued in 1985-89 is part of the first banknote series designed for the new currency which is the austral. This particular note is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. Its obverse features the first president of Argentina Bernardino Rivadavia. On the reverse of the note is a seated Liberty or the Progreso carrying a torch and with a banner, a shield, and laurels around her. The banknote also shows the countrys Coat of Arms on its reverse. This 155 x 65 mm paper bill has a sunburst pattern as its watermark.
