The Argentina 1 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1983 by the military government as a new currency which is the peso argentino. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. Its obverse bears olive branches and a portrait of El Libertador Jose de San Martin. The reverse of the note centers the Llao Llao Hotel surrounded with trees and boats on Nahuel Huapi Lake in Bariloche. Mountains are also shown in the background. Other notable elements on the banknotes reverse are the national emblem and olive branches. This 155 x 75 mm paper bill has a sunburst pattern as its watermark.
