The Argentina 100 Austral banknote issued around 1985 to 1990 is among the first issues bearing the new austral currency design. This banknote is in uncirculated condition. It is also TAP authenticated. The obverse of the note features the 7th president of the country Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. Depicted on the left of the obverse is the seated Liberty called Progreso who is holding a torch. A shield is also visible. The national emblem is also shown on the reverse. The paper banknote which measures 155 x 65 mm has a sunburst pattern as its watermark.
