This uncirculated 2,000 Argentinian peso note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina in 2023 to commemorate the Development of Science and Medicine in Argentina. It is a dark gray and pink note that bear the signatures of C. Moreau and Pesce, and measures 155 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features a molecule, a caduceus in green-to-blue OVI, modern hospitals, and the portraits of Dr. Cecilia Grierson and Dr. Ramon Carrillo, the precursors in the development of medicine in Argentina. Its reverse side shows the National Institute of Microbiology in Buenos Aires. Other security features include an identification code with tactile relief, microprinting, latent images, and a watermark of Dr. Ramon Carrillo and Dr. Cecilia Grierson.
