Argentina 20 Pesos Banknote, 1999, P-349a, UNC

The red, violet, and yellow 20 Argentinian peso note measures 155 mm long and 65 mm wide. Its obverse side contains Juan Manuel de Rosas profile and the painting Retrato de Manuelita Rosas by Prilidiano Pueyrredon. Its reverse side includes an intense scene from the Combate de la Vuelta de Obligado (the Battle of Vuelta de Obligado) on the Parana River, the coat of arms of Argentina, and military trophies. The note has a solid security thread with BCRA $20 printed in demetalized ink, a watermark of Juan Manuel de Rosas, and an electrotyped watermark of JMR.
