The Argentina 5 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2003. The particular paper money comes in uncirculated condition. Centered on the banknotes obverse side is the Abrazo de Maipu painting of Pedro Subercaseaux which depicts the Liberator Jose de San Martin embracing the military leader Bernardo OHiggins on a horseback. A portrait of San Martin in a military uniform as well as San Martins will is shown on the right of the obverse. The back of the banknote features the memorial monument to the Army of the Andes on Cerro de la Gloria in Mendoza, the Order of the Liberator General San Martin medal, and the countrys Coat of Arms. This 155 x 65 mm paper bill bears a watermark consisting of an image of Jose de San Martin and an electrotype JSM.
