The Argentina 5 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2015. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. It is also TAP authenticated. The banknotes obverse features El Libertador Jose de San Martin in a military uniform. It also shows a sunburst which symbolizes the Orden del Libertador or the Order of the Liberator, a branch with flowers, an Optically Variable Ink (OVI) patch of a statue. Moreover, the front of the note displays an OVI patch of a standing soldier wearing boots, a helmet, and a sword. A handshake is also visible as the banknotes registration device. On the reverse of the banknote is an image of Libertadores Jose Artigas, Simon Bolivar, San Martin, and Bernardo OHiggins. Flags, flames, the national emblem, and the presidential seal can also be found. This 155 x 65 mm paper note reflects an image of Jose de San Martin and an electrotype JSM as watermarks.
