The Argentina 50 Australes Banknote was released by the Central Bank between 1986 and 1989. The obverse of the purple banknote features Bartolome Mitre who served as the 6th president of the country. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the seated Liberty holding a torch with a shield. It also shows the coat of arms of Argentina. The banknote does not contain a security thread. It bears a watermark that reflects a sunburst pattern. It is 155 x 65 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This particular paper bill has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
