The Argentina 50 Austral banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1986 bearing the first design which was specifically for the new austral currency. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. Centered on the obverse is a portrait of Bartolome Mitre who was the 6th president of the country. The reverse of the note features the seated Liberty (Progreso) holding a torch and with a shield. The Coat of Arms of Argentina is also featured on the reverse side. This 155 x 65 mm paper banknote bears a sunburst pattern as its watermark.
