The Argentina 500,000 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1980 due to inflation. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Its obverse side features El Libertador Jose de San Martin. On the banknotes reverse side is a painting by Jose Moreno Carbonero Segunda Fundacion de Buenos Aires or the Second Foundation of Buenos Aires which depicts soldiers with muskets, a man raising a flagpole, a cleric holding a cross, a man rising a sword, a pillar, seated indigenous persons, a tent, and horsemen. This 155 x 75 mm paper bill comes with a sunburst pattern watermark.
