The Argentina 500,000 Peso banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1980 - 1983 due to inflation. This particular note comes in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. Its obverse features El Libertador Jose de San Martin. On the reverse of the banknote is the painting of Jose Moreno Carbonero Segunda Fundacion de Buenos Aires'' which depicts soldiers with muskets, a cleric holding a cross, a man holding a flagpole, a man rising a sword, indigenous people, a pillar, a tent, and horsemen. The Coat of Arms of Argentina is also shown on the reverse of the note. This 155 x 75 mm paper note has a sunburst pattern as its watermark.
