This green Argentina 500,000 Pesos banknote was released by the Central Bank of Argentina between 1980 and 1983. The banknotes front side features Jose de San Martin who was known as The Liberator of Argentina, Peru, and Chile. The back of this 155 x 75 mm paper bill depicts soldiers with guns, a man holding a flagpole, a cleric with a cross, a man rising a sword, a column, seated indigenous people, a tent, and horsemen as illustrated on the painting Segunda Fundacion de Buenos Aires'' by Jose Moreno Carbonero. The reverse of the note also displays the coat of arms of Argentina. The paper bill bears a watermark that shows a sunburst pattern. This TAP authenticated banknote is in uncirculated condition.
