The Argentina 500 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Argentina between 1977 and 1982. This green banknote features oak branches and a portrait of revolutionary Jose de San Martin on its obverse. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the coat of arms of Argentina and the memorial monument to the Army of the Andes on Cerro de la Gloria (Glory Hill) in Mendoza. The banknote contains a watermark that reveals the coat of arms. This 155 x 75 mm banknote does not have a security thread. This particular Argentina 500 Peso banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
