This uncirculated 500 Argentinian peso note was introduced by the Central Bank of Argentina in 1978 and was signed by P.C. Lopez and A.C. Diz. It is part of the series of peso notes issued from 1977 to 1982 and demonetized in 1984. It is a green note that measures 155 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features Jose de San Martin. Its reverse side shows the Army of the Andes memorial monument found on the Cerro de la Gloria (Glory Hill) in Mendoza. Security features include a coat of arms watermark and embedded colored threads.
