The Argentina 500 Peso banknote is part of the banknote series issued in 1977 to 1982. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition. It depicts oak branches and a portrait of Argentine El Libertador Jose de San Martin on its obverse side. The reverse of the 155 x 75 mm paper banknote features the memorial monument to the Army of the Andes which is found on Cerro de la Gloria in Mendoza. The Coat of Arms of Argentina is also displayed on the notes reverse. Argentina 500 Peso banknotes from the 1977 - 1982 series have varieties of watermark designs.
