Reviews:

The Armenia 1,000 Dram is part of the banknote series issued in 1999 which comes in all-new design and enhanced security features. This particular banknote in uncirculated condition is packed in acrylic block, making it look more vibrant and stunning. The obverse of the banknote depicts Armenian writer Yeghishe Charents and the magnificent Mount Ararat. On its reverse is an old Yerevan building on Hanrapetutyan Street. A carriage drawn by two horses with a driver is also featured on the notes reverse. This 136 x 72 mm paper banknote has a solid security thread and a windowed security thread with a demetallized AMD. The banknote also reveals an image of Yeghishe Charents and an electrotype 1000 when it is held up to a light source.
